Hanging the work

If it holds paint, I can paint it.

Walls at home or at work, a car panel, a jacket, or a stretched canvas for over the couch. Tell me the surface and the feeling you want, and I'll sketch the idea first.

A wildlife mural of parrots, toucans and butterflies painted along an outside wall

Portraits drawn from your photos.

Couples, graduates, parents, the dog who runs the house. Graphite and charcoal on paper, worked by hand from the photo you send.

  1. Send a photo

WhatsApp a clear picture and tell me the size you want. A4 and A3 are the usual.

  2. A graphite portrait half finished on the drawing desk, with the reference photo open on a laptop behind it

    I draw it by hand

Faces first, then fabric, hair and shadow. You get progress pictures along the way.

  3. A finished graphite portrait of a woman in a striped shirt, framed in grey wood on a dresser

    Framed and ready

Signed THG, framed if you like, and ready for the wall or for gifting.

The collection

The colourful primate painting hanging on a dark slate wall in a modern kitchen

Painting is not easy, but simple if you love it.

    Tshepo, THG

The primate, at home on a slate kitchen wall. Big work changes a room. I'll help you pick the size and the spot.
