The farm

Maroela is a family game farm in the Loskop Valley, owned and loved by the Basson family. Giraffe, eland, kudu, nyala and zebra graze between the koppies, and on a quiet evening you might even spot a leopard.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner off the grill, a Sunday buffet worth the drive and a bar with the widest variety of drinks in the valley. Walk-ins are welcome, bookings are wise.

Drives leave on the hour at 09:00 and 15:00. Pre-booking only, weather permitting, with the restaurant open for drinks afterwards.

Our hall seats around 150 guests, with catering from our own kitchen, a bar on site and décor available. Accommodation for the wedding party is right here too.

Functions & conferences

Around 40 delegates in the restaurant or 150 in the venue, with a screen and projector, coffee bar and breakfast, lunch or dinner. Birthdays and year-end functions welcome.
