These terms apply to your use of this website and to bookings made with Maroela Pub & Grill & Game Trails (“Maroela”). By using the site or making a booking, you agree to them.
Bookings
- A booking request sent through this website, WhatsApp, email or phone is only confirmed once our team confirms it with you.
- Deposits, payment terms and cancellation conditions for stays, weddings and functions are agreed with you in writing at the time of booking.
- Walk-ins are welcome at the restaurant, but we cannot guarantee a table without a booking, especially on Sundays and public holidays.
Game drives
- Game drives are by pre-booking only and depart at the advertised times.
- Drives are weather permitting, and Maroela may postpone a drive for the safety of guests or animals.
- Guests must remain seated in the vehicle and follow the guide’s instructions at all times. Wild animals are unpredictable, and sightings are never guaranteed.
Prices and information
We work hard to keep prices, menus and trading hours on this site up to date, but they may change without notice. Weekly specials are posted on our Facebook page. The price confirmed at the time of booking applies.
Alcohol
Alcohol is not sold to persons under the age of 18. Please drink responsibly and never drink and drive.
On the farm
Maroela is a working game farm. Guests enter and move around the property at their own risk and must respect fences, signage and staff instructions. Children must be supervised by an adult, including at the swimming pools and play area. Maroela is not liable for loss of or damage to personal belongings, except where caused by our negligence.

Photos, logos and text on this site belong to Maroela or the photographers who took them, and may not be copied without permission. Links to other websites are provided for convenience, and we are not responsible for their content.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Nothing in them limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008.
