Heavenly Meats respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it and how we protect it, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

2. What we collect
This website has no forms, user accounts or online payments, and it doesn't use analytics or advertising trackers. We only collect personal information when you contact us, for example by phone, WhatsApp or email. This may include:
- your name and contact number or email address
- the details of your order or quote request
- any other information you choose to share with us
3. How we use it
We use your information only to:
- answer your questions and give you quotes
- prepare, confirm and hand over your orders
- keep the business and tax records the law requires
We don't sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we won't send you marketing unless you've asked us to.
4. Who we share it with
We only share your information when we have to: with the services we use to talk to you (such as WhatsApp or email providers), with our accountant for record keeping, or when the law requires it.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires. After that we delete or destroy it.
6. How we protect it
We take reasonable steps to keep your information safe, such as limiting who can see order details and keeping records secure. No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure, so please don't send sensitive information such as banking passwords.
7. Your rights
Under POPIA you have the right to:
- ask what personal information we hold about you
- ask us to correct or delete it
- object to us processing it
- lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator

8. Cookies and third-party services
Heavenly Meats doesn't set any cookies on this website, and we don't use analytics, advertising or tracking tools.
To show the page properly, your browser loads fonts from Google Fonts and code libraries from public content networks (jsDelivr, unpkg and cdnjs). The site itself is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any website, these providers may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser type when your browser requests their files. Their own privacy policies apply.
Links to Google Maps, Facebook and WhatsApp take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies and cookie practices.
9. Children
This website is not aimed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
